Please help us support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk by donating towards my fundraising efforts today. You can help bring us closer to living in a world without cancers!
By giving a donation today, you can help children like our grandson Gavin. At just 5 years old, Gavin was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Prior to diagnosis, he had unexplained bruises, tiredness, pale skin and a hard time catching his breath. Gavin was in intense treatment for 9 months and is now in remission. He is currently in the maintenance phase and hopes to complete treatment in November 2017.
Gavin will begin the 2nd grade in the fall of 2016. Since he missed almost his entire kindergarten year he really appreciates the ability to attend class and interact with other children. Gavin takes a lot daily medicines but rarely complains. He visits Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City once a month for treatments. Gavin loves construction equipment, baseball, soccer, gymnastics, and time on the farm with his papa,

Money raised from the Light The Night Walk allows The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to fund treatments for patients who are suffering from all forms of blood cancers. LLS' funding saves thousands of lives every day. Gavin's life was saved because of LLS' work supported by people like you. Please make a donation to continue to help children like Gavin and check my Web site frequently to see my progress. http://pages.lightthenight.org/mid/Neks16/RAltobello
